| River was such an amazing actor and friend of the environment. Many continue to watch his movies and are overwhelmed by the mystique, beauty, and greatness of his work. I'm taken aback whenever I see his movies even if its the 10th or 15th time. Like many loyal fans I believe the portrayal of Chris Chambers in Stand By Me immortalized his acting legacy. I greatly admired him for his kindness and the personal power to remain so humble, and his respect to Mother Earth along with his whole family. He left a mark on everybody who has seen his work or even a picture of him. River you are greatly missed, but will never be forgotten. Deepest regret you had to be taken so soon. |
