Rio's Attic: Celebrating the Life and Times of a Dearly Missed River Phoenix
I'm not great at putting words together
to make things sound great, but I just want to say,
from my heart, how I feel about River Phoenix.

When I think about River, I think about love.
He's such a caring and wonderful person.
When I read quotes of things River has said in the past,
it inspires me. The way he talks, so positively,
about how we can change the world, if we all work together.
That means a lot to me.
I would love to help change the world,
and make it a better place. And I wish that there were
more people like River on this world
to get that message across.

I'm 16 years old myself, and River is truly
my biggest inspiration. I wish that I could've
known him personally, and become a close friend of his.
The celebrity bit has nothing to do with it.
You become drawn to someone that's a celebrity
because of the work you see them do,
but I think you stay a fan of them because of the person
you learn that they are. I mean, if I liked his acting
but found later on that he'd been a complete snob in person,
I wouldn't remain a fan. But he wasn't like that at all.
I don't have any friends that I'm really close to,
other than my sister, and I just think that River would be
an amazing person to be friends with,
to love and to be around. To share things with,
to share feelings with. To laugh with, to cry with.
To sing with, and to dance with.

I care a great deal for River Phoenix
and he will always be in my heart, and forever a part of me.

Love always,
