| I just finished watching "Stand By Me" not too long ago. Made me think how River Phoenix and his movie character, Chris Chambers, are alike. Both smart, righteous, open-hearted. Both gone..... I still can't believe it. How many movies he could've done... maybe directed... I'm happy to know that he is not forgotten, that people watch his movies, remember him, still talk about him. There's a saying: "you're alive as long as you're talked about and remembered". River is alive in our hearts. |
