| About this time every year, I remember back to Nov. 1, 1993 and all that week, driving down Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. Seeing the last spot on Earth that River stood. I remember the flowers, candles, pictures, poems, left on the sidewalk by his loving fans. To this day I do not just go past that point on Earth, but stop (if even for a moment) to thank God for giving us River for the time we had him. River... you are always remembered for all your love and freedoms that you represented in your art and in your short life. |
