|My dear River -|
I need to thank you for being yourself.
I've been inspired by you since
the first time I saw you in Stand By Me,
when I was just six years old.
I've followed up on you ever since -
finding that we shared the same interests and beliefs.
Now, all these years later I need to thank you -
not only in my prayers -
but here where it's tangible and understood by others.
Thank you for helping me get through
the roughest times in my life.
Thank you for being the beautiful soul you are.
