Rio's Attic: Celebrating the Life and Times of a Dearly Missed River Phoenix
I was really too young to idolize River Phoenix.
I never put pictures of him on my walls
or was the first in line to see his movies.

The only movie of his that I've seen is
"Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade".
But now since I have gone almost
entirely through this site I can now appreciate
what a great actor River Phoenix was.
He was very handsome and charming.

I often wonder what the world would be like
if he was still alive today.
He would probably have retired from movies
and gone to work in Costa Rica.
He would have probably been married.
I really wish I had known him.
Not like being his best friend
but just being able to see him in movies
and hear about him in tabloids
even though that was what he hated most
and I don't blame him.

No matter how many books you read on him
or how many movies you see of his
we'll still never really know him.
