|Your river ran so deep,|
You forgot how to swim,
The murkey water filled your lungs,
You couldn't yell for help,
The coldness made you numb,
So you fell, your eyes shut.
And when they opened, you couldn't see the sun,
The darkness had closed in,
And who knows if you fought
after you got tangled in the weeds?
And then, the great River ran dry.
They say when you died, you looked like
a fish out of water.
