| I fell in love with River the first time I saw Stand By Me. That movie was a masterpiece, that made him famous. I love his films. When I tell people, as today on Oct. 31, 1997, that River Phoenix died on Halloween, they just say "Oh that druggie", or another hurtful remark. Even if he never did drugs, or with them, to escape the pressures of Hollywood, he was and always will be, the eternal River Phoenix. |
