Extraordinarily intelligent, Wolfgang Müller is a gifted pupil but surprisingly he will often be absent from school by pretending to be sick so he can work on one of his many experiments. In the family's converted basement Wolfgang maintains a makeshift private laboratory. Wearing his white coat, he engages in his latest projects in the company of his computer, library and pet animals. He ventures out of his lab and rejoins his large family only at mealtimes. Finding it difficult to be around children his own age, Wolfgang had wanted to change his name in an effort to fit in more. Proud of their heritage, his parents who are both eccentrics themselves would not hear of it. |
