"Interview With The Vampire" is the film version of the first book of Rice's celebrated series known as "The Vampire Chronicles." Warner Bros. will distribute the motion picture worldwide.

Cruise co-starred with Paul Newman in Martin Scorsese' s "The Color of Money," and with Dustin Hoffman in Barry Levinson's Academy Award-winning "Rain Man." His performance in Oliver Stone's "Born on the Fourth of July" earned Cruise a Best Actor Academy Award nomination, a Golden Globe Award and a People's Choice Award.
Cruise also starred in Ron Howard's "Far and Away" and in "A Few Good Men" for director Rob Reiner, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination. In 1993, he starred in Sydney Pollack's "The Firm." Brad Pitt made a strong impression on filmgoers in Ridley Scott's "Thelma and Louise" and in Robert Redford's "A River Runs Through It."
