SHEP GORDON (Executive Producer) is co-chairman of Alive Films and President of Alive Enterprises, an independent music/film/television and management organization. With offices in New York and Los Angeles, the firm has guided the careers of such musicians as Blondie, Deborah Harry, Teddy Pendergrass, Kenny Loggins, The Gypsy Kings, Alice Cooper, Burton Cummings and Luther Vandross, as well as such performers as Raquel Welch and Ben Vereen. Serving as executive producer on all of his clients recordings, Gordon is responsible for record sales in excess of one hundred million worldwide. As co-chairman of Island Alive and Alive Films, Gordon was involved in the production and/or distribution of such innovative films as CHOOSE ME, KOYAANISQATSI, Oscar winner KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN, THE MODERNS, FAR NORTH and the Oscar nominated BETTY BLUE and MARLENE.
CARY WHITE (Production Designer) has worked in several westerns, including the Emmy Award-winning CBS mini-series "Lonesome Dove." Other credits include the television pilot "Ned Blessing," the mini-series "Son of the Morningstar," about General Custer, starring Gary Cole and "Redheaded Stranger," starring Willie Nelson. He also served as production designer on Robert Benton's romantic comedy NADINE, starring Jeff Bridges and Kim Basinger. The Texas native studied interior design in college and went on to do graduate work in film at the University of Texas. He most recently designed the sets for Ted Turner's Civil War epic GETTYSBURG.
VAN RAMSEY (Costume Designer) won an Emmy Award for his work on the CBS mini-series "Lonesome Dove" and was nominated for an Emmy for his work on the Hallmark Hall of Fame production "Sarah, Plain and Tall," starring Glenn Close. He also designed the costumes for the CBS television movie "O! Pioneers," starring Jessica Lange, based on the Willa Cather novel and worked on the movie-of-the-week "Our Sons," a powerful drama about AIDS starring Julie Andrews and Ann Margret. Ramsey's film credits include three works by Horton Foote: 1918, starring Matthew Broderick, ON VALENTINE'S DAY and COURTSHIP, starring Amanda Plummer. Ramsey studied chemistry and architecture before pursuing costume design. He attended Parsons School of Design in New York and designed for various New York stage productions for about 10 years before landing his first movie, 1918.
PATRICK O'HEARN (Music) is an accomplished musician whose style ranges from jazz to rock to "global." He has worked with such musical greats as Van Morrison, Robbie Robertson, Dexter Gordon and Stan Getz. Other musical credits include work with Frank Zappa, Rod Stewart, Carlos Santana and feature film composer Mark Isham. Recent feature films are Roger Donaldson's thriller WHITE SANDS, starring Willem Dafoe, and HEAVEN IS A PLAYGROUND. His albums as a solo artist on Private Music/BMG records include "Indigo," "Mix Up," "El Dorado," "Rivers Gonna Rise," "Between Two Worlds" and "Ancient Dreams."
