For Mishka & Natchskoya -
for the times I scribble
when I should be playing ball.
About the Author:
E.C. Kasalivich was born in Oklahoma, USA but has lived in the UK since childhood. Now 44, he is married with two sons and like many prospective writers, he holds down a day job which he describes as the bane of his life. Apart from writing in general, and writing screenplays in particular, he also enjoys mountaineering, horseback riding, motorcycling and films - especially the work of River Phoenix and also Keanu Reeves (for whom he has written a full 2-hour screenplay which is currently with an agent - "early days; fingers crossed"). God Damn a Potato was originally written as a back-story for a follow-up screenplay that would have been submitted to Gus Van Sant, the director of My Own Private Idaho - the movie on which this novel is based. Mr Kasalivich's ambition is to make a living as a full-time writer, "and so bid farewell to the day job!"
